The Musical Story of Lourdes

VISION is a rock-pop musical set in a bar in central Lourdes.

When two newbies arrive in town they have no idea what to expect.

The barman pours them a drink. He gathers the regular crowd.

As the froth settles on their beers, they are whisked back to Bernadette's visions and the events of 1858 that rocked the town of Lourdes and the world beyond.

Production History

Conceived in Lourdes in 2002, VISION has been performed at venues across Europe. It has enjoyed two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and enjoyed a spell at the National Theatre Lagos, Africa. The musical now returns to The Hotel Solitude in Lourdes in July 2025. Tickets will be available in 2025, please contact us for advance group bookings.
